Our Partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte

At FiltersFast.com, we believe that everyone should have a safe place to call home. That’s why we partner with Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte, NC.

We are so proud of this partnership and wanted to share a brief history of our involvement.

2019

In the spring of 2019, we held a quarterly company event where we hosted a book drive for Habitat’s Julia’s Cafe & Books to raise money to build energy-efficient, affordable Habitat houses at a company-wide event. Our employees brought tons of books- so many that the Habitat Team couldn’t fit them all into the container they brought.

Volunteer Days

In the summer of that same year, we gave our employees the opportunity to take a paid day off of work to help build a home in a community in Charlotte. Many of our employees really enjoyed this day and loved being able to give back to their local community.

ReStore

We also offered our employees a paid day off to volunteer at a Charlotte ReStore. This group worked restocking areas of the store, moving items to the floor, breaking down boxes, and so much more.

For the employees who were not able to attend the summer volunteer opportunity, we offered a fall volunteer opportunity that turned out to be on a cold and rainy day. Everyone powered through and worked hard with smiles on their faces. Our team really loves giving back to their local community!

2020

Early in 2020, as the world shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FiltersFast.com jumped into action and pledged to match every $1 donated by our customers up to $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlotte. We were thankful for the opportunity to help assist our partner during this challenging time.

2021-Now

We frequently donate filters and other products by the truckload directly to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlotte. Our Distribution Center in Monroe, NC does a great job at facilitating these donations with the Habitat Team.

Looking Towards the Future

We are looking forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership with Habitat and resume in-person volunteer opportunities very soon.

In addition to our partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte, NC, we also partner with Wine To Water and Western Carolina’s Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by sponsoring their spring Xtreme Hike for the Cure, and our CEO, Ray, participates along with Team Filters Fast to raise money to find a cure.
