Namely:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a title=\"WWF Corporate Partnerships - Coca-Cola\" href=\"http:\/\/www.worldwildlife.org\/what\/partners\/corporate\/Coke\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">World Wildlife Fund &#8211; Coca-Cola Partnership<\/a>: &#8220;an effort to measurably conserve seven of the worlds most critical freshwater river basins.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"&quot;The Coca-Cola Company Commits US$30 Million to Clean Water Projects Across Africa&quot;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thecoca-colacompany.com\/presscenter\/nr_20090316_africa_rain_projects.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN)<\/a>: Coca-Cola&#8217;s $30-million dollar commitment to providing communities throughout Africa with safe drinking water and sanitation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Global Water Challenge\" href=\"http:\/\/globalwaterchallenge.org\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Global Water Challenge (GWC)<\/a>: founded with support from Coca-Cola, a global movement toward safe water and sanitation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Coca-Cola&#8217;s Commitment to the CEO Water Mandate: a program designed to help companies better manage their water use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><code> <\/code><br \/>\nThough I applaud Coca-Cola&#8217;s apparent concern over the world&#8217;s water supply, I can&#8217;t help but contemplate the irony of their efforts. Surely Coke must be aware that it takes nearly two gallons of water to manufacture just one of their many plastic beverage bottles. Conservation? Good water management?
