Having a personal connection to the cause and having made a commitment to help fight for a cure, Ray, representing\u00a0 and a group of dedicated hikers, will join together hiking over 30 miles, to raise awareness and funds to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Approximately 30,000 people in the United States are currently living with Cystic Fibrosis with up to ten million more being carriers of the defective CF gene.\u00a0 Cystic Fibrosis causes devastating damage to the lungs, sometimes leading to fatal infections, and digestive tract, preventing food from being absorbed and used properly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One way the CF Foundation raises money is by holding a series of events across the U.S. known as the Cystic Fibrosis Xtreme Hike.
