However, not just any filter will do, you have to use a <em>quality<\/em> air filter. A MERV 8 will give you protection against airborne particles such as pollen, pet dander, and dust. MERV ratings higher than 8 will protect you against even more airborne particles such as viruses, bacteria, and mold spores.
