The Worldwide Institute published a list of\u00a0<b><i>simple things you can do today to help reduce your environmental impact, save money, and live a happier, healthier life\u00a0<\/i><\/b>a few years ago<i>\u00a0<\/i>that we believe are still relevant today.<\/p>\n<p><b>Recycle<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There is little excuse these days.\u00a0 Most local municipalities offer some type of pick-up or drop off service.<\/li>\n<li>Check for specific items including plastics, paper, glass, aluminum at the minimum.<\/li>\n<li>Keep electronics out of the trash as well, such as cell phones, computers, and other E-waste.\u00a0 These products contain mercury and other toxins which are a growing environmental danger.
