It’s that time of year again! FiltersFast.com’s Founder and President, Ray, and team FiltersFast.com, will be participating in the Xtreme Hike for the Cure in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Ray and the FiltersFast.com team will be hiking a grueling 30.1 miles on the Appalachian Trail on April 21, 2018.<\/p>\n

Since 2013, FiltersFast.com has worked tirelessly to raise money to\u00a0go towards this amazing cause and has successfully\u00a0completed the hike each year. With the support of amazing vendors, customers and partners, we hope to raise $30,000+ for this year’s hike.<\/p>\n

Why cystic fibrosis?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited, life-threatening disorder that affects the lungs and digestive system and the cells that produce mucus, sweat, and digestive juices. The fluids that this disorder produces can become thick and sticky and can end up blocking tubes, ducts, and passageways. As an online filtration company, we believe that it is our responsibility to give back to the community, especially if it’s a cause that aligns with our mission. Because cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, so it’s no question that we would participate in the Xtreme Hike for the Cure.<\/div>\n
