Establish a school sleep routine a couple of weeks before. <\/strong>Long gone are those summer days when bedtime was anytime, and they could sleep in until noon. Making sure your children are rested and ready for the day is a big part of having a successful day and school year.<\/p>\n

Ease into the routine<\/strong>. Avoid first-day-of-school mayhem by practicing your routine a few days in advance. Set academic goals.<\/strong> Setting expectations at the beginning of the school year, will not only give them the confidence they need to go into a new year, they\u2019ll also have the motivation they need to achieve their academic goals. Whether it\u2019s to get straight A\u2019s on their report card or get 100 on test in the subject they don\u2019t care for. Setting little goals is a better idea than you think!<\/p>\n
