An outdated thermostat can often be problematic because it offers less versatility. If you haven\u2019t done so already, buying a digital thermostat is a must. With multiple settings and easy programming, you can set the desired temperature in your home with little to no trouble.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, we offer the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filtersfast.com\/Honeywell-Filter-Thermastat-TH8320U1008.asp\" target=\"_blank\">Honeywell Vision PRO 8000 Thermostat<\/a> as a featured product, along with several other <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filtersfast.com\/Thermostat-cat.asp\" target=\"_blank\">digital thermostats<\/a>. The Honeywell Vision PRO 8000 features a touch-screen, menu-driven programming, and a real-time clock that keeps time during power failures and updates the time for daylight savings. The programming feature on this digital thermostat is one of its most cost-saving and energy-conserving components. You will be able to program your thermostat to shut off when you\u2019re on vacation and to turn on before you arrive home, which can save you money.<\/p>\n<p>Installing a new digital thermostat may seem daunting, but it\u2019s quite simple if you follow these instructions.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Read through the manufacturer\u2019s instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Turn off the breaker or fuse panel that powers your thermostat.<\/li>\n<li>Remove your old thermostat.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the cover plate.<\/li>\n<li>Remove mounting screws.<\/li>\n<li>Carefully remove wires and keep note of which color wires connects to which terminal. Also, tie the wires together carefully so they do not fall behind the wall.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the thermostat base by removing mounting screws.<\/li>\n<li>Install the new mounting plate with new anchors, usually provided by the manufacturer. Position the plate over the old anchors or drill new holes if the plate will not fit.<\/li>\n<li>Connect the wires. If you kept note of where the colored wires fit, this will be easier.<\/li>\n<li>Attach the new thermostat to the base and insert batteries.<\/li>\n<li>Install the cover (this might need to be mounted with screws).<\/li>\n<li>Turn the power back on and test the thermostat.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the programming instructions provided by the manufacturer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>Installation should take between 15-20 minutes.
