I have a Kenmore Elite Premier Reverse Osmosis system and have live in San Francisco. We have two young kids and pretty much 3 adults drinking off of the filter. I’ve found that my pre and post filters last barely 2 months when I’ve commonly heard 6 months as an expected target. The flow rate starts to slow and then does a dead stop…then I change the filters and am back in business. Does this sound normal for a newly constructed house in SF?

I HAVE A BORRED WELL. I USE A WHOLE HOUSE FILTER. TODAY WHEN I WENT TO CHANGE MY FILTER ONE SIDE OF IT HAD A GREEN GROWTH ON IT. IT WAS ON THE SIDE THAT FACED THE DOOR OF MY WELL ROOM. THE DOOR WAS LEFT OPEN WHICH HARDLY EVER HAPPENS. WHAT IS THIS?

I have a reverse osmosis system GXRM10G. Family of 2. How often should I change the postfilter sump and prefilter sump and should I change the RO cartridge at the same time?

How do you turn off the red light on the
outside of the refrigerator after you
replace the filter. I couldn’t figure it out.
I lost the instructions. It is a Maytag filter. Thanks.

My water appears to have particles floating in it. If I get water out of any faucet or my refrigerator, it has the same particles in the water.
