Thanks for your comment. The main difference between the two filters is the NSF Certifications. The Frigidaire PureSource filters are NSF42 and NSF53 certified. NSF42 certifies that the filter reduces specific aesthetic or non-health-related contaminants like chlorine, taste, odor, and particulates. The NSF53 certification means the filter will reduce specific health-related contaminants, such as Cryptosporidium, lead, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), and asbestos. The Electrolux SmartChoice filter is a compatible filter that only has an NSF42 certification which will only reduce aesthetic or non-health-related contaminants like chlorine taste, odor, and particulates. This is the main reason for the difference in price.

Can someone please put the specs differences? One filter is called ultra and is more expensive implying that is is an upgrade from the WF3CB. I can’t find any explanation of the difference between the two except name and price.
