Nalgene, the popular manufacturer of reusable plastic water bottles, just released their second annual Nalgene Least Wasteful Cities Study.
San Francisco was deemed the least wasteful city in America. San Fran took the title of Top Rain Barrel City from New York City, which previously held that honor.
Right behind San Francisco was Seattle. One of the ways Seattle acquired No. 2 is very near and dear to our hearts. The Nalgene study reported that 64 percent of Seattle’s residents don’t purchase bottled water, and that 71 percent of the residents refill their reusable bottles to be “more environmentally conscious.”
Is your city one of America’s Least Wasteful Cities?.
