Thank you for reaching out to us. Filter sumps (clear bowl) are model-specific. Please review the cap to confirm whether a model number is available. Unfortunately, many manufacturers do not display the model number on the housing. Without the model number, we could not guarantee compatibility. If this is the case we would recommend installing a brand new housing (cap and sump) with an opaque housing. The opaque variety is more sturdy and will last longer than the clear variety.

Dear FilterFast, I had an inline water filter installed in my home several years ago. The housing (clear plastic or lexan) failed and the outcome was about 2 inches of water in my basement. Fortunately, I had another plumber install a bypass, so, its not as if I had no water. I do have water, even though it is not filtered ( I was expecting laundry to be affected, but, thank God, it hasn’t happened yet! ) I don’t use / engage the plumber who installed the in-line filter for the simple reason that he left me with no information about this in-line filter. I have twice ordered (from Home Depot) what I thought was the correct size filter housing, but, on both occasions the housing did not fit. Is there any way that I could give you dimensions from what I can measure / describe?
