Need a replacement air filter?
There’s a lot of talk about actual vs nominal measurements for filters and we’re here to help clear up any questions you may have.
Actual measurement: The measurement you get when you measure the filter yourself (Usually will include ¾ and ½ sizes).
Nominal measurement: The measurement printed on the side of the filter (Rounded up to the nearest number).
Did you know: Filter measurements are usually rounded up to the nearest number?
While using a tape measure will give you the most accurate measurement of your filter, you will need to round up the numbers to match them with a filter size.
When in doubt order the nominal measurement if possible.
