More than 2.1 billion people around the world lack access to safe drinking water and 2.5 billion do not have access to improved sanitation. With the rise in COVID-19 across the globe, hand washing, and sanitation education has never been more important. At FiltersFast.com, we believe that access to clean water and sanitation is a basic human right. This is one of the many reasons why we have partnered Wine To Water, a water and sanitation and hygiene (WASH) organization that helps bring clean water and sanitation education to people around the world.
World Water Day is Sunday, March 22nd which serves as a global reminder of the importance of our world’s water sources and sanitation education. This year, Wine To Water is raising awareness about the lack of clean water and sanitation and hygiene education in schools through its #Water4Schools campaign. Wine To Water will partner with teachers in domestic and international classrooms to ensure they have the tools they need to teach proper water, sanitation and hygiene education to their students.
We all have the power to change the world for the better. If you have been a longtime customer of FiltersFast.com, you might be aware of our longtime partnership with Wine To Water. If you are just hearing about our partnership for the first time, there are a number of ways you can help support the work that Wine To Water is doing:
